2007... This marks another step forward with the launch of a small company in Canada, Centaur Photo, by Reg Corkum. With nearly 35 years of experience and a life long love of photography,Reg offers an experienced eye to the field of equestrian photography and art. In more recent years, Reg has dedicated much of his time as a supporting photographer to some of the best in the business including Lili Weik Photography of Warrenton, Virginia (show credits include HITS Ocala,Florida; HITS Culpepper, Virginia; HITS on the Hudson, Saugertis, New York; and Brownland Farm, Franklin, Tennessee), Deb Dawson of D & D Photo out of Alabama (Pebble Beach Circuit,California; the Oaks, San Juan Capistrano, California) and Shawn McMillen (Kentucky Nationals, Kentucky Horse Park, Kentucky, and a whole list added for 2008). Having gained valuable experience mostly by doing, Reg does not take lightly opportunities offered and hopes to continue traveling and supporting those who have helped him achieve both personal and career goals. Today's coverage of the large format shows is no longer a job for the single photographer. It has become a team effort and the importance of having loyal reliable professional assistance only helps serve the public better. With the launch of Centaur Photo in Canada, the main purpose is to develop markets already in progress and offer an exchange to those who have given much appreciated opportunites in recent years.
